My little sis has a baby
A week ago Saturday my sis had her third baby. She requested that I be the photographer/videographer for the labor and delivery. And the little one waited for Auntie Memzy to be there because she arrived just hours after I rolled into town from Mayheeeco. My mom was there too and everyone was excited.
My bro-in-law sweats when he gets nervous and so I suggested he go Rocky-style.
Before I get to the last pic I should tell you a few things:
My sis had two previous babies. The first was induced 4 days late weighing 9lbs.
The second was induced 8 days late weighing 9lbs3oz.
This one she didn't want to be induced and so didn't end up going into labor until 10 days past her due date. All was well until the last couple of minutes. The baby's head was out but her shoulders were stuck (shoulder distocia?). So, within a very short period of time they had to get the baby out or she would lose oxygen. So, short story long, the doctor broke little baby's arm (the humurous bone at the top) to get her out. It was sad and scary for a bit but baby and mom are doing fine and she should heal quickly. By the way: 9lbs 13oz!!!

Part Dos
Our daily routine pretty much consisted of: wake up, eat breakfast, lounge around until we got the energy to walk outside, and hang on the beach all day. Occasionally we would venture in to eat or grab a new book/magazine. But it was pretty much that. We did manage to go visit "La Bufadora" one day. It's a blow hole shooting out of the ocean about 30 feet high.
Sand is my friend.....sand is my friend......
Shed brought his own shovel and gloves and made many a "fort" for the kiddies.

Taking full advantage of said hole.....

A daddy-Cracker walk on the beach.

Mommy and Carlitos....

Char Char is kickin the karaoke machine here.

The kids room down in the basement.....I really wish I had a basement at home I could throw kids down into like this.

The house as seen from the beach..

Within minutes of arriving you can imagine how it went down...

More coming later....
Wish YOU could have been there.

This is a party,........no frowns aloud
^^Teddy Thompson song, "Everybody move it", look it up yo.

1. There are some new kids shows on TV that I enjoy immensely ((mostly cuz it distracts my kids to zone out long enough for me to get dinner done without tripping, or lets me take a long "bathroom break" while reading my new fave book (The Atonement) without "someone" coming in to harrass me.)) They are: Phineas and Ferb, Ni Hao Kailan, and most recently some new episodes of Little Einsteins and The Backyardigans. I'm not above T.V. being a babysitter if I can get away with it.

2. My sis is HUGE-O preggers due any day now (specifically Thursday) and I've been asked to take pics and video in the delivery room.

3. Next week is spring break for the kiddos so we are heading back down to Mexico (Ensenada) to rent a beach house. Hooray!

4. My bro in Oregon has suggested a "switch" of sorts with the kids this summer for a week. They get Brains (when together with his cousin, Kule, is a deadly combination of annoyance) and we get their angel boy who is Cracker's age. I'm thinking this could be aaaaaaawesome.< said in sing-songy voice.

5. My joy of dark chocolate almonds is unnatural. I realize I've brought this up before but I digress........
