The fight against the brown battle continues...
So, Char Char's constipation issues continue on. As some of you may remember, he saw a specialist in Feb and that guy ordered a blood work-up to be done. I've been a super bad mom and have been putting it off for various reasons (one being that his constipation was improving btw). But today I bit the bullet and took him to get blood drawn. I figured I'd better cover all the bases if I ever want this to end. Soooo, nurses holding him down, screaming, crying, etc, ensued. But the best part is that after all was said and done, when we were driving in the car about an hour later, Char Char tells me this (out of the blue):
"Mom...she hurt my arm but she didn't hurt my spirit."

Ahhh! What a sweetie. Didn't it make you feel good knowing what you are teaching them actually is being heard and understood. I am so glad I found your blog. I am so bad at keeping in contact with people. This is the only way I really can. It being 10:00 at night and all. It seems like that is my only down time. I miss you. But, love that I get to see you in the halls at church every once in a while. Love ya!

That is so funny! He couldn't have said anything cuter. Jonah has to get his blood drawn quarterly. He actually likes it in a twisted way. He'll sit there happily and watch the needle go in. They are always surprised but it.
