SOMEONE HAS A CRUSH ON ME

A list of things I have to do THIS WEEK:

1. Plan and execute a morning preschool in my house for 5 little rugrats. Theme: farm animals.
2. Plan and execute cub scouts at my house.
3. More Prop 8 phone calls/ door knocking.
4. Two soccer practices and one soccer game for Brains.
5. Plan and execute Relief Society lesson for Sunday.
6. Attend Scout round table Thurs evening.
7. Prep picture entries for the KC Fair on photo mounting boards and turn in (deadline Sat).
8. Piano practice with boys everyday.
9. Piano lesson with boys Thursday.
10. Do traffic school online for the ticket I got back in June.
11. Plan Char Char's talk that he's supposed to give Sunday.
12. Then the usual laundry, cooking, grocery shopping, gym attendance that comes with every other week.

My face/attitude while having a week like this:

::super grouchy face::

The cute guy that sired my children:

1. Did the dishes twice yesterday.
2. Made the bed for me while I was at the gym.
3. Moved on the laundry for me while I was at the gym.
4. Bought me a new vacuum (mine broked over the weekend).
5. Brought home a rotisserie chicken dinner so's I didn't have to cook.
6. Walked in with flowers.
7. Is booking my flight to Seattle in late October for a girls weekend.

And all of this was without being asked..........

I think someone has a crush on me.

This reminds me of when you pulled back that rug by your back door and saw all those ants and freaked out. Rod walked in and simply said "Memzy, just go in the other room." And he took care of it.

He knows how to get you off that ledge.

I need a nap after reading your list of To-Dos. BBL.

My husband does things for me to. Just last night he left the newspaper scattered on the dining room table, left his dirty plate on the counter instead of rinsing and putting in the dishwasher, and left water bottle #3 on his nightstand. I'm waiting to see just how many bottles will fit on it. Thanks for letting me see how the other half lives.

Luckeeeee! (like from Napolean Dynamite- I wasn't sure where to put the emphasis but you get the idea right ?) My hubby is good about picking up the slack for me too although I usually do have to ask !

I've known about Shed's crush for a long time. My husband was grouchy last night so I wonder if he has to do some of the things on your list. Except make the bed. We don't make our bed so it's ready if I need to get back in.

I don't know, I think he might be after somthing. I bet you end up losing a few pillows this week.
I know Dwight loves me when he comes home with a fresh cold diet coke in his hands for me. I like to picture him driving home and thinking, "I should stop at this gas station here and get my gorgeous wife a diet coke, not that she needs diet or anything."

Impressive list! And someone does love you- obvious constantly how much he adores you.

I feel your pain with your list. Weeks like those make me a little crazy (I've obviously had many weeks like that lately). It's already Tuesday, so the week is almost over. Hang in there. Everything will be great, isn't it always?

You go Shed!!! You're a Good Man! It's all about not being asked to do that stuff, Just doing it because they know it needs to be done.

1.Sherod is the best--no doubt about it. Keep him.
2. I'm bringing dinner tomorrow night so as to ease the cub scout pain. Pasta, salad, garlic bread--the boys favorite.
3. Charlies talk? Family picture--I'm thankful for my family-yadda, yadda, done deal.
4. Traffic school? Nice.
5. Thursdays, pack meeting. Get a head ache, send your co-leader. I mean how much info can there be? I mean---scouts---really. (This coming from a mom who NEVER had to do cub scouts--or any other kind of scoutism)
6. I'm thinking the Friday night date should be fairly grand.

7. Relief Society lesson--how long has it been since they saw a video? Everyone loves videos.

Cristin,....I mean right?

Landers...getting me off the ledge is a big plus to having married him. Otherwise YOU'D have to do it. How was that nap?

Case...you are too funny.

Kelli...I caught the ND reference even before you splained.

AJ....I think Imma adopt your bed non-making idea.

Amy.....the pillows will be properly protected by plastic cases.

JennE....so good to hear from you. I'll call as soon as I can form some complete verbal sentences.

Queso...I try to make any list I make impressive. ::wink::

Kristi....I shouldn't complain, I know how much you've had to do lately.

Br Boys....hollah

Carol/mom/aunt visor......you cannot bring me dinner. I forbid it. And yes I CAN tell you what to do cuz I'm your favorite child. But I think I might listen to a few of your suggestions. I'm just gonna recite the mantra "It's ok to do things half-way. It's ok to do things half-way."

Carol said...

YES--practice that mantra. It IS OK to do things half way sometimes because your half way equals others over achievements. (And you are not the boss of me)

You know what I hear is good for relaxing? Tango lessons. Think you could talk Shed into summados this week?????

Kristin said...

Good luck with the rest of your week. By the way--your mom makes me laugh. I need to meet her.

Emily said...

Just be grateful you didn't just have your SIXTH kid!! Not that I'm complaining...

Your husband rocks!

ManicMandee said...

Sherod is such an awesome husband!!! And you are the perfect wife for him too.

Memzy said...

If I didn't know you better, Emily, I'd think your comment sounded like people with ONLY 3 kids aren't busy. But I know you better than that.

Busy weeks are my specialty. I have 3 suggestions

Oops, I'm not saying I'm back on the stuff, just a thouht.

And yes, I'm pretty sure Shed has a case of the "crush".

I sent the traffic school doc to Sherodw8@aol.com. Michelle said that her tests were different (I guess they do them randomly) but that the Word doc was a big time saver because you can skip all the screens until the section test and then just search through the doc for the answers. Good luck!

colleen said...

You know what, Memz? That list is exactly the kind of life I pictured you leading... adoring husband and all! Congratulations!

Hazel said...

Who is going to keep all those balls in the air when you are away on your blogger reunion? That would be love...but seriously, flowers? My husband bought me a plant once. Is that the same thing?

So I loved your to do list because instead of focusing on how great your husband is (which I really think he is) I'm rejoicing in somebody who's life is as busy, crazy as mine. I'm not alone.
