We are rock stars

This is the recording studio we used. Notice me in the "vocals" booth in the back. That cool dood in the foreground is the Master Mixer. I hope all you peeps buy my CD, available in large retailers nationwide.
Just like Celine Dion, I'll soft rock your world.
And Shed was, of course, rawking it on the guitar for me.
Srsly,......rock out.
So, to prevent you from running away from your computer desk at this moment to get your kids in the car, drive across town and look in the M section for "Memzy" at the CD stand......I have to break it to you......
We didn't really make a CD. But what we DID do was record a song for my Dad for father's day this year. I know that was way back in June and stuff but I've been busy. See, my dad used to always sing me "Somewhere over the rainbow" in my bed at night before I went to sleep. It's kinda our song. So, Shed played and I sang and we recorded that song for him. I even added an extra verse to bling it out:
"Somewhere over the rainbow...
A father sings....
To his little girl...
In her bed at night...
As she drifts to sleep"
You can all get our your tissues now.

That is a great idea! You'll have to post your recording on your blog. I'd love to hear it!

That is so special. I love gifts that have meaning and aren't just because they were on clearance at a store. You are a great daughter. I would love to hear it.

That is so sweet! Now, did you make it through the song without pulling out a few tissues for yourself?

I hope we get to hear it. Everyday is father's day!

You people are funny. There is absolutely no way I'm going to post that. And Aunt Visor can't either!

Touching. Very touching. You simply must post this on one of those playlist things on your blog. If not we all will give you the silent treatment for a looooong time. Right guys??

I'm with her^^^^^ I want to hear it, I want it NOOOOW! You are so good at coming up with very sentimental gifts. Like my running shirt. That was so sentimental.

Your dad made himself a nice girl. I have always wondered if you sing with your eyes open or shut. I can't wait until cousin in-law day!

I can't believe you posted those pictures! They're darling and now we can appreciate the song even more. Cris has that CD in the car and everytime he plays it, his heart melts all over again. You are the master of special gift giving--no doubt about it. What a blessing you are to us. And btw--you'r not the boss of me. As soon as I learn how--I'll post it. Em, can you come over tomorrow and teach me how :)

That is the nicest thing I have ever heard. Things like that never even cross my mind to do. Wouldn't mind hearing it either.
