Procrastination really does have it's benefits

Like, for example:

*relaxing
*perusing the internet
*watching mindless TV shows (except for Heroes--That one hurts my brain)
*Dirt, smudges, wall dings, etc., from your three crazy boys don't bother you at all

And yet, when you snap out of that procrastination fog after, say, many, many years. You can actually come out with something like this:

Introducing my new and improved bathroom! (Previously untouched since we moved in almost 8 years ago.) ::clapping and applause::
The wall color, I like to call, "grayish-purplish-bluey". I copied it from a friend (Hollah Gretchen) and had been waiting for my un-procrastination hormone to kick in.
Notice my cute little name thingy on the right there that Landee gave me a while back (woot woot). Now, I just need to tackle caulking those baseboards that were put in last February. I think I'll wait a few more years tho.

NICE!!! Wow! I love it, srsly. Beautiful color combo. Now I just need to figure out how to get ready in there with all my crap without having to put that lamp on the floor cuz it's so dang cute.

PS I'm sad my boys were finally removed from the chalkboard thingy.

Not kidding.

Em. Again, your sense of Pottery Barnish style impressive. When in the heck did you have time to paint, pray tell. Have I told you lately that you're an overachiever? I love the bathroom. Tres chic!

Looks great Emily! Why procrastinate when you do such a awesome job?

Love the color choices! It looks fabulous. I wouldn't let ANYONE use it now. Just let people in for a peek at the great decor and then hustle them out.

Beautiful! We've been in our house 8 years now and I still have not painted any of the bathrooms. Between Amy's bathroom/home redo and your bathroom redo, I guess I better step up. Pretty potties are where it's at.

Cristin--That procrastination bug just has a very small window. As soon as you feel the fog lifting you have to run to Home Depot and buy all the paint, etc. so you can do it before the fog sets in again.

Jenny--I'll have bran muffins too for the sealing of deals.

Landee--You've moved the lamp before, you can do it again. That applies to everyone who comes btw. And I actually shed a tear pulling that pic of your boys off the chalkboard/magnet thingy. It was time I guess. But i did put it in my "to be scrapbooked by someone else someday" pile. I kept it fer realz.

Mom--Painted Thursday night til late. See above "window" for my procrastination bug. It had to be done.

Queso--The boys could care less. But they actually did say "cool" when I showed them.

Homegirl--Well the other stuff gets in the way sometimes. But thanks!

Vanessa--I know, now I'm actually gonna CARE if the kids are messy in there. ::sigh::

I haven't done anything to my bathroom yet, but we've only been here for 2 years, so I have a while right?
