If you can't receive the blessings because Aunt Visor is always
"making it up to you"? Me, Shed and Brains helped my parents pack up
and move my gram's apartment this last weekend. Today my mom wanted to
say thank you by bringing us dinner tonight. Homemade pasta with two
sauces, French bread, salad and chocolate cake. You can see how we
inhaled it. How am I supposed to get my blessings now?

ok, maybe I do need to take a trip down there.
Most people aren't like that and I am sure you serve other people too. I love a person that is grateful for your service! Looks like you've got someone there.
Food for thought, maybe a night without cooking was one of your blessings. Blessings like that don't happen daily, so enjoy it.
Oh, and just because someone reciprocates your service, that doesn't make yours invalid. I suppose you could have refused dinner, but do you rally wanna keep someone from fulfilling their service? Hard feelings would result and Aunt Visor is one of the sweetest people I've ever met.
Well said, Hot Pants, ManicMandee and Kristi--well said. Her service was very valuable and my service to her was very fun.
Whoa! You changed your blog background? Fancy!!!
And that's exactly what's supposed to happen when you do service, you just are supposed to expect it. I heart pasta and french bread. Hmmm.
I meant you *aren't* supposed to expect it, of course. Yeah, I typed that really fast during an AI comercial.
Hey, Aunt Visor, remember when I sent you that congratulatory text on your new iPhone? So anyway, I prefer Alfredo sauce over tomato based ones. Just FYI.
See this post is addressing a much bigger topic: what a human being could possibly have done to be born into that family.
But I know you deserve it. If truth be told, I don't really covet that iphone as much as this pasta and what it represents.
Where can I get me an aunt visor?
P.S: Your blog is super duper hard to read with the new background. Just thought I'd mention that...
I hate it when that happens to me! And about those blessings...yeah, they're gone.
