I'm their favorite and no one need wonder anymore. I just hope my three siblings (all three who graduated as Cougs) take it OK. ::pretend saddy face for them::

Favorites? In a way, I guess you're right :) But only because we say that to which ever child is standing in front of us at any given moment. And yes, Memzy got the awesome 1989 license plate rescued from the wrecked silver honda station wagon before it was taken to the car graveyard. The mechanic said, "You know you're not sposed to take off the plates". To which I responded, "Buddy, these are personalized plates and I'm takin' 'em". That plate was safely stored/forgotten in a file drawer until recently discovered. Who to give it to? All of our kids deserved it, would want it but alas, Memzy's sad/hopeful puppy face was quite pleading and we desided to just let it go. We actually didn't even discuss it with the others. It just happened. But, do not fear, each child will get something just as near and dear to their hearts somewhere down the line. Just wait and see. . . . .We have treasures people, treasures.

Please forgive the typo--decided, not desided.

Nice! You know if you get a treasure like that, you are indeed . . . the favorite!! Personally, I will be lucky if I inherit the old photographs of great, great grandmother that spook everyone out when you pass by them in the hall at night. Lucky me!!

My favorite part of this post is AV's comment about telling the mechanic she was illegally lifting these plates. It gives them even more meaning.

Congrats on being picked to host these plates, where are you going to place them for public viewing pleasure? With great gifts come great responsibility.

Why wouldn't you be the favorite?? You are smart and cute and funny. You are my favorite too.

P.S. When you die, can I have that license plate?

My attorney is already planning my lawsuit and I am coming at you with both barrels Em... this is bush league and you know it.

That being said, I did get the 1984 National Championship mug (Royal Blue with vintage 80's font and a cheesy helmet with the old school Y on it--pure disco). This holy vessel held Dad's change for over 20 years on the dresser. It is displayed in my office on the same shelf as the family picture.

The plate will look GREAT right next to it!

Oh Katie! That post title is perfect for my up-coming post about our personalized license plates. Imma use it, K? I'll give you credit at the bottom in a much smaller font.

Memz, Yes, AV 'splained your inside joke post perfectly. NOW it's hilarious!

I can hear the cries from afar. I'm also picturing how you are going to incorporate that plate into your decor.

I'm always saving all my old license plates so my kids can fight over them. None of them are personalized, but I'm sure they still hold memories. Too bad California doesn't make you have front and back license plates, then AV would be able to pretend like she had 2 favorites and then you wouldn't be getting sued.

It's all yours Jenny! And no need to roll credits, seriously. Since I didn't sent you a Christmas present this will totally make up for it.

How do I know that BYU fans are better than Boise state fans? Because you never see a family torn apart over a Boise State plate.

Katie, I just put it up, and I gave you credit in the tiniest font you ever did see, way down at the bottom! It's precious.

Whatcha gonna do with those? I don't think They are going to match your pink and black themed house. I think your brothers are going to be a little mad when you just put them in a box in the garage.

Landee, generally the grooms family pays for the flowers. So if that was the case, you just made Annie, Emily and ManicMandee jealous.
