On a scale of 1 to 10

How bad is it, really, to tell my 5 yr old to go to the "naughty chair" and tell him to think about what he's done and I'll be there in a few minutes to talk to him about it.

And then get in the shower, have a couple texting convos, replay the duet from AI last night (featuring Demi Lovato and her hilarious "posing"), blow dry my hair, start my makeup and then hear....

"can I come out now?" (like,........45 min later)

I mean, are we talking "I'll never let my kids play at your house again" or more of a "I'm calling CPS immediately" sort of thing?

Oh no I do that all the time. My kids have no concept of time. I would totally let you babysit all my kids for a weekend while I go out of town still.

Pretty bad, I think.

But I am impressed by your ability to have texting conversations in the shower.

We are talking "way to teach him a lesson" thing! He'll never forget all the fun he heard you having while he was in timeout!

Oh, that's a 10 on the "I do that all the time" scale. I leave them on there in hopes that they'll fall asleep.

ummm you mean you've never done that before???? My bad.

10, as in, awesome. Because he stayed in one place for that long.

There is no way in $%^# my kids would stay in the same place for that long.

A perfect example of normal mothering skills. . . .perfect. It in no way measures up to leaving your kid at church (Landee) or putting the infant seat on top of the car while loading the other kids and then forgetting to . . . . .true story. NOT ME for heavens sake--a dear friend. (No children were hurt during the aforementioned incident.) Kudos to CharChar for staying in the chair.

P.S. BTW--with a face like that, how can you put that child on the naughty chair? Hmmm?

If that's all you got, than you are a WAY better mom than me!

I've put my child in time out and they did fall asleep. When she woke up, she asked if she could come out of the "naughty spot" (it was only like 2 hours later!) Oh well, I think it keeps us humble :)

Now THAT'S an obedient kid!

It'll give him stronger bones. Wait...did you do this to CHAR CHAR? What's your exact location right now? No reason. AV you might need to watch some kids while Memz is in lockdown.

I never forget my kids are in time-out because they yell at me every couple of minutes asking if they can come out.

Now I understand why I haven't heard from you in so long.
